We are delighted to share that James Chambers, Managing Director of Plant-Fit Group Ltd, has been named as a finalist for the Doncaster Chamber Business Person of the Year 2025.

This shortlisting is recognition of James’ practical approach during a period of real challenge for the construction and plant hire sector. Rising fuel costs, finance pressures, and supply chain issues have made the last few years difficult for many. James responded by taking clear, proactive steps to protect the business and its people:

Speaking about the nomination, James said:

That resilience has paid off — we’ve maintained positive growth each year, safeguarded jobs, and expanded into new areas such as facilities management and civil works.”
