What We Do

At Plant-Fit we offer an extensive range of plant and machinery, assisting you in all projects relating to the construction industry. All Plant and Machinery can be hired on a self-drive basis or with a fully trained and qualified CPCS operator.

We strive to be as efficient as possible, and have invested in the latest technologies to ensure our services are the best available; from delivery times, to fuel efficiency, to providing the ideal machine for your individual needs. All of our machines are fitted with GPS security systems, allowing us to provide our customers with peace of mind as to the security of the products they hire.

We have a fully-qualified team of mechanical technicians, able to provide on-site repairs with quick response times. Our premises are equipped with multiple inspection pits, diagnostic equipment, and a rich stock of replacement parts. Our dedicated office staff are highly-knowledgeable, and can help deal with any queries you might have.

Plant-Fit headed to HillHead 2016 this week in order to view potential new vehicles and exhibitions. An exciting day out for the whole team gave us insight into the best vehicles, of which we strive to bring to all of our customers. Overall the team enjoyed the day out and are really looking forward to the next event in 2018.

General Yard Labourer Required || [FILLED]

Position: General Yard Labourer

Position type: Full Time Permanent

Reports to: Workshop Manager/Plant Manager

Plant-Fit Limited are currently looking to recruit a Yard Operative to be based at the Doncaster Head Office. This interesting position will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to become a valued member of the Plant-Fit Limited workforce. This permanent position will provide the successful candidate with secure long term prospects.

The duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Maintain a safe/clean environment within the premises
  • To insure that all plant is in the best possible condition before being hired out
  • Complete a plant external appearance checklist on return of plant machinery from hire
  • Report any damage to Workshop Manager/Plant Manager
  • Cleaning interior and exterior of plant vehicles before it goes on hire
  • Collect parts from suppliers as and when required
  • Site refuelling

The successful candidate must have:

  • A Full Category B driving licence (category B+E would be desirable)
  • Use your own initiative
  • Ability to work independently

HGV Driver Required

Due to the vast expansion that Plant-Fit Limited have seen in recent months, we are currently seeking to recruit an experienced and highly qualified HGV Driver who enjoys the fast paced nature of the industry. The successful candidate will be experienced in using digital tacho card, awareness of the working time directive and operate within the VOSA standards. You will also have significant experience of transporting heavy plant machinery.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Full HGV C+E Class 1 licence
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience of driving HGVs
  • Minimum 25 years of age
  • Construction Skills Certification Scheme Card
  • Experience of driving Ride on Roller, Dumpers and Excavator is essential. Possession of Construction Plant Competence Scheme would be an advantage
